Formerly the grounds of St Faith's Hospital, this country park consists of undulating open grassland surrounded by mature hedgerows, with a small wood, streams and a pond. From its highest points it provides views across to South Weald.

The grassland is cut twice a year and supports many wild plants, including cuckoo flower, burnet saxifrage and coltsfoot. Kestrels can often be seen hunting for small mammals in the rough grass. Slow worms and grass snakes use the habitat piles created by local volunteers.
